We have a car!
Getting a car in Africa is very expensive. Getting a good car for a reasonable price is almost impossible. Another missionary (Brian Kelly) was leaving the field. He had his Subaru Forester for sale. Brian gave me a great discounted price, and I took him up on the offer. Brian was able to drive his Forester until the day he left for the US. We have a car waiting for us as soon as we arrive in Kampala (probably January 2012 or so)!
