John's personal Bible devotion on Saturday, Feb. 11, was from Ezra chapter 7. This chapter cover's King Darius' letter to the Jews who were leaving their homes to return back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. King Darius was sending them off with the provisions necessary for their task.
What was encouraging to us was that Saturday, Feb. 11, was also the day of our send off party in San Diego. Over 40 families stopped by to see us, pray for us, and say good-bye. Our final send off will be at our home church (Maranatha Chapel) on Feb 25 (SAT) & 26 (SUN). We will be prayed for in front of the congregation during our church's Mission Weekend.
We are thankful for the support of so many families. God has provided for our moving to Uganda.
