Lily began her internship training with Far Reaching Ministries (FRM) August 1st. So far, she is getting oriented to FRM's way of doing things and learning their policies & procedures.
John is working at Maranatha Chapel's Vacation Bible School (VBS) August 1-6. He is also learning how to manage the house during this time.
John departs for South Sudan on August 8. He will be there for 4 weeks and live in a tent on FRM's chaplain training compound. He will be doing several things there construction and train the men how to put up an extremely large tent. John will have a cell phone in South Sudan. We hope to have new posts to the blog when he calls in.

John Going to South Sudan
Far Reaching Ministries (FRM) has asked John to be in their chaplain training base in Nimule, South Sudan. John will be there August 7 to September 4 and set up a large circus-style tent for the chaplain base. The training base is very rustic. Electricity is from a generator, and there is no running water. John will be sleeping in a small camping tent.
John is very excited to go. It's a great opportunity for him to get more practical training with FRM.
